Overview of marginal land and how amendments can help to take it into use was published: Schröder, Peter; Mench, Michel; Povilaitis, Virmantas; Rineau, Francois; Rutkowska, Beata; Schloter, Michael; Szulc, Wieslaw; Žydelis, Renaldas; Loit, Evelin (2022). 2020 growth season was the pilot year for the project. Field trials with barley and amendments (Si, Se) were conducted in Poland, Germany, Lithuania and Estonia. Experimental sites with grasses were studied in France. Furthermore, barley was grown in macrocosms, to see the impact of silicon under predicted future conditions.
